PC Veterans Service ID Cards
Preble County Veterans Services now offers honorably discharged veterans the option of having photo ID. You can get your ID card from Veterans Services at no cost to you. You must bring a copy of your DD214 attesting to the discharge character. For more information, you can contact Veterans Services at 937-456-6111.
Preventive dental program
The Preble County Veterans Services Commission has a preventative dental program to promote good oral hygiene and general health by connecting veterans with local Preble County dentists. Services offered include: basic annual review; basic dental cleaning; panoramic X-ray (if recommended); X-ray of the wing occlusion (if recommended; fluoride treatment (if recommended). If, after the examination, the dentist discovers other dental problems (other than the root canal, the braces or crowns), PC VSC can assist with additional items on a case-by-case basis depending on the treatment plan of the treating dentist. If you wish to use this program, contact the Preble County Veterans Services Commission, 1322 North Barron St., Eaton, at 937-456-6111.
“We Care” Program
In an effort to recognize the sacrifices of our local veterans and to promote spending within our own community, Preble County Veteran Services maintains a program called “We Care”. Veterans Services will provide honorably discharged local veterans with an official “photo ID” to be presented to local businesses when shopping. The veteran would then receive a discount on the total cost of the purchase. For more information, contact Veterans Services at 937-456-6111 or 1322 N. Barron St., Eaton.
