Q: How does the plan work?
A: With your membership, you will have access to
dental providers who have agreed to offer their services at negotiated discounts off of what they usually charge. For the same quality care, you pay members-only discounted prices at the time of service.

Q: How soon can I use the dental program?
A:
Once you sign up online or over the phone, your membership will be activated within two business days. You then become eligible for all dental program. There are no waiting periods. All ongoing dental/medical problems accepted conditions are included, except for orthodontic treatment in progress.

Q: How do I join or apply?

Q: How much discount do members get on dental fees?
A: Most people will save 70-80% off the national average on preventative dental work such as cleaning, exams and x-rays. You will save 50-65% on more major work such as extractions, root canals, braces, crowns, etc. All work performed by a dental specialist at a 25% discount. To see the exact fee schedule for your area click here, search for a provider in your area and the fee schedule will be to the right of each provider.

Q: Are dentures and implants included?
A: Yes, you will receive savings on dentures and implants by being a member of the plan.

Q: Are there any limits on the type of services included?
A: There are no limits whatsoever. There are no yearly maximums or waiting periods. You can go to the dentist as often as you like and always get services you need at discounted prices.

Q: How do I find a plan dentist in my area?

Q: What if I want to go to a specific dentist who is currently not within your network?
A: You will enjoy the Plan discounts only when you see a dentist within our current network. You may choose to refer your dentist to join the AmeriPlan® network. Along with your new member kit will be a card you can fill out in order to refer your dentist to us. We will contact the dentist and attempt to add them to ever growing provider list. Please be assured that all dentists currently within our network are fully credentialed. Their offices have been inspected and comply with AmeriPlan's ® high standards.

Q: Is this a legitimate Dental Plan?
A: This Plan is offered by AmeriPlan USA ® Corporation, a corporation headquartered in Dallas, Texas. AmeriPlan ® is the largest and best known discount dental plan administrator that markets its plan directly to individual consumers.  AmeriPlan ® is a member in good standing with the United States Chamber of Commerce, the American Academy of Group Dental Practices, the National Association of Dental Plans, the National Association of Provider Access Organizations, the Better Business Bureau of Dallas and the Texas Retailer's Association.

Q: How much is the dental plan membership fee and what does it cost to join?
A:
Individual membership is only $11.95 per month. An entire family membership is $19.95 per month! Family membership includes all residents in the household including parents, children, relatives, significant others, and all permanent residents of the household.
You will also be put on the Prescription Drug, Vision and Chiropractic plans absolutely FREE with the Dental Plan membership. The first month there is a one-time only member application fee of $20.

Q: Please explain your 100% satisfaction guarantee.
A: If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days of becoming a member, you may cancel your membership in writing by mail to 5700 Democracy Drive, Plano, Texas 75024, fax to (469) 229-4595 or email to stop@stopmembership.com.  Your membership fee will be refunded. No hard feelings. The one-time administrative fee and money paid for healthcare services and products are not refundable.  After 30 days membership fees are not-refundable. You may cancel your membership at any time upon written request to AmeriPlan ®.

Q: Is this dental insurance?
A: No. This is a non-insurance, reduced, fee-for-service Dental Plan. Members receive discounts based on our group's aggregated purchasing power. The out-of-pocket payments you make to the dentist are based on a members-only discounted fee schedule. 

Q: What makes your plan better than other plans?
A: For a lower monthly fee than most dental insurance, your plan has no limits on the amount of savings or program you can receive each year. There are instant savings you have to meet therefore, your savings start immediately. There are no waiting periods, even on ongoing dental/medical problems accepted conditions so you can go see a dentist right away. No paper work to fill out and no age limits. All ongoing dental/medical problems accepted conditions are included except orthodontic treatment in progress. In addition to dental savings you will save on your vision, prescription, and chiropractic needs.

Q: I already have dental insurance through work. Can I still join for this Plan?
A: Yes, many of our members use there plan in conjunction with their current insurance to reduce their total out-of-pocket expense on dental work which is not included or is only partially included by their current insurance or when their current program have been depleted for the year.

Q: How much more do the Prescription Drugs, Vision and Chiropractic Plans cost?
A: The Prescription Drug, Vision, and Chiropractic Plans are included at no extra cost with the Dental Plan Membership.

Q: Who are the Dental, Prescription Drugs, Vision, and Chiropractic Care providers? How large is your provider base?
A: Your membership welcome package will contain a directory of the providers. You can check for providers online by clicking here.

Q: Will I be sent a membership information package? What type of customer support do you offer to members?
A: Within 10 to 14 working days of receipt of your application in Dallas, you will receive a Membership Information Guide, Membership Identification Cards, and a Dental, Pharmacy, Vision and Chiropractic Care Directory.  All members can also access a toll free members' support hotline with customer service representatives who are ready to help you out.
