Is Ameriplan® a scam?
Not in my opinion. Of course I'm a broker for Ameriplan® and have been since July 2000. I'd still be working a day job if I hadn't started Ameriplan® when I did. In 2004 I retired early from my civil service job (at the age of 52) because I was making enough money from just the MEMBERS that enrolled through my web site that when added to my "early retirement pension check" I could live quite comfortably.
As a matter of fact, my wife and I travel the country in my 2008 40' motor home promoting Ameriplan® across the USA.
I don't make a "six figure income" and I probably never will (unless I get lucky and sponsor a broker who understands how to market this business) but I DO make more than $25K a year. That's all I can say about that.
If you do a Google search for "ameriplan" there will be dozens of web sites on the first page that PAY TO BE THERE.
The anti-ameriplan web sites are promoting their own business - NOT Ameriplan®. It's just a way to get people to click to their web site.
If you read a review by a disgruntled broker, there's probably a very good reason why it didn't work for them.
I've read that members can't get their memberships cancelled. That's just because they didn't pay attention! Like ANY other health benefit type corporation, they require a WRITTEN advanced notification to cancel their membership. Otherwise, anyone could cancel your membership right?
The Ameriplan® Corporation is a discount medical plan organization, that provides it's members millions of dollars a year in supplemental health care benefits since 1992. It is the largest fee-for-services program of its type in the country and is NOT a scam or fraud.
